What this project is

The Adventist Ewe Hymnal is a volunteer project that makes the Seventh-day Adventist hymnal available in Ewe. It is provided free of charge for worship, study, and congregational use, and it is the official publication of the Ghana Volta Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Using the hymns

You may read, project, print, and sing from these hymns in worship and in personal devotion, without asking us.

• Do not sell the hymn texts, translations, or recordings, or include them in a product you charge for.
• Do not republish the collection as your own work or strip the attribution.
• Do not use automated tools such as scrapers or bots to bulk-download the content. The service is built for people, and heavy automated traffic slows it down for everyone. If you need the texts for research or another worthwhile project, write to us through the contact page.

Rights in the content

The English Seventh-day Adventist Hymnal is the property of its publishers, and nothing here affects their rights. The Ewe translations, the Hatiatiawo collection as gathered here, the recordings, and the software are the work of the Ghana Volta Mission and the volunteers who contributed to this project.

If you hold rights in any material here and believe it should not be published, write to us through the contact page and we will take it down while we look into it.

Corrections

Translation is careful, slow work, and mistakes survive review. If you find an error in a hymn (a wrong word, a missing verse, a misnumbered entry), tell us through the contact page. Corrections from congregations are the main way this collection improves.

Availability

We run this project on a volunteer basis and cannot promise the services will always be available or free of errors. The mobile app keeps hymns on your device so it goes on working when our servers do not, which is the best guarantee we can offer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
